the narrow streets of city life overflowing with restrictions escape! the pressing walls enclosing a world
cemented by regulations and machinations escape! the protection of your disposition escape! the definition of your possessions escape! the karmic clutches of your own myopic failing escape! the sermons of responsibility escape! the bonds and boundaries of humanity &nb

now is here forevertentacles reach from recessesnow is here forever
and cracks and the fissures of life
betwixt the stones tenderly like a love-starved old lady with purple highlights whose breath
smells
of false teeth and the patience
of a death
in waiting the sky-bound pillow stretches
and tears as the sun streams
down
in a cascade of summer
resplendant leaving spring
a rapidly cooling corpse smelling faintly
of last year's blossoms and thunderstorms
that pass
in the night constellations twirl

mildly idlewhat use these slender fingers, uncallused and already wrinkling, when idly they rest on the keys, and speak in silence onlymildly idle
what use are these cold hands, when they're not wrestling with the world, wringing it for words to keep and to preserve
what use my skin, my lips, my tongue, when they're not singing all together of the warmth of woman
and the laughing child
when idly i recline,
procrastinating, bemoaning the shortness of these waning days, what use then, tell me, are my hands?

till i forget the flamethese are candles i believe burning fierce and gaping holes into the canvas of the night through which are glimpsed a million mismatched eyestill i forget the flame
of strangers staring in these are candles whose frolicking flames cast flickering shadows on the cavernous walls
of the world outside the blind puppetteer drops his manacled cast in clumsiness as the audience sniggers
in derision &n

Life's been busy. Too busy really, hence my abscence. Not sure if that's about to change anytime soon, but one can but try, eh?
Poems...I have a couple lying about the place. I just might post them, now you're asking
And you? Sup buddy?
